"Samurai dolls displayed for the Boys' Festival" is decorated on May 5.
We pray for a boy's healthy growth and decorate with the symbol hero samurai's dolls (or armor etc.) in the room.
Like the heroes, we are wishing "Boys will grow up to be a gentle and brave man."
5月5日には、五月人形を飾る。男児の健やかな成長を祈って、そのシンボルとして英雄となった武将の人形（または兜や鎧など）を家の中に飾ります。その英雄たちのように、子供たちが優しくて勇敢な大人になってほしいと願っている。
SHIRASU-DON しらす丼
"SHIRASU-DON" is a bowl dish which has the fry of a sardine, ginger, a Welsh onion, a fresh egg, etc. on boiled rice.
At a fishing port, you can eat fresh fry which is not boiled. And if soy sauce is mixed with hot boiled rice and fry, a very fascinating smell will occur.
You can eat this wonderful dish at the fishing port in Japan.
「しらす丼」は、ごはんの上にイワシの稚魚と生姜、ネギ、生卵などをのせたもの。漁港では、新鮮な稚魚を茹でずにそのまま食べることができる。熱々ごはんと稚魚と醤油を混ぜ合わせるととても魅力的な香りがする。このすばらしい料理は、日本の漁港で食べてほしい。
