It is a song of a cradle.

The canary has sung it.

Let's sleep, sleep and sleep.

If we look up, the fruit of the loquat is shaking.

Let's sleep, sleep and sleep.

The squirrel is shaking the rope of the cradle.

Let's sleep, sleep and sleep.

The yellow moon is appearing in the baby's dream.

Let's sleep, sleep and sleep.

The cherry-blossom-viewing party is performed at the castle in spring. Samurais are pouring each other's sake. Moonlight is inserted there from between the branches of a pine tree. Where has such moonlight gone now?

Samurais' camp was covered with white frost in autumn. The group of a wild goose flies crying. It has shone by moonlight so that it may flow on the stood sword. Where has such moonlight gone now?

The same moonlight as that time is illuminating the run-down castle in which nobody is present now. Only the vine has still grown in the stone wall. It is a strong wind to make the pine sing the lonely song.

The moonlight which illuminates this world does not change. A country repeats rise and fall. It is man's world. Now, moonlight is illuminating this wilted world.

Moonlight illuminates a run-down castle. Nothing can be said.
